SAM

Sam Castelli

Director
Sam is Castelli Group’s founder and leader. He oversees all Castelli Group operations, bringing more than 40 years’ passion, technical expertise and professional experience to the role. Sam established Castelli Group after his engineering company, UGL, successfully listed on the ASX in 1994. At the time, UGL employed more than 2,500 staff.

Sam’s high standards and strong record of achievement help ensure the Group consistently exceed its clients’ expectations and succeeds in all of its activities.

Adam Castelli

Director
Adam manages Castelli Group’s property operations, though maintains an interest in all of our ventures. Clients respect Adam for his strong drive and commitment to achieving goals. Adam’s experience spans over 20 years.

He is registered builder, a Licensed Real Estate Agent and has a Bachelor of Commerce in Property. Adam’s hands-on approach sees him dedicated to the task at hand, be it in the office, on a building site, or at Castelli Estate in Denmark.

Luca

Luca Castelli

Director

Luca is an experienced electrical engineer and renewable energy engineer. He manages Castelli Group’s electricity retail and power generation interests, including Advanced Energy Resources and A-Star Electricity. He also oversees the Group’s winery operations and In Cantina, its liquor wholesale business. Luca’s sophisticated knowledge of the West Australian energy market, technical capability and over 10 years of industry experience has seen him develop a reputation for delivering leading-edge power generation and electricity supply solutions for both large industrial and small commercial electricity consumers.

Andrew Vesey

Chief Winemaker
Andrew began his wine career at 18, working in retail liquor before transitioning to a Bachelor of Applied Science in Viticulture and Winemaking.  Since graduating he has been involved with international wine production through France, Portugal, Italy and New Zealand.

Andrew primarily worked in North East Victoria from 2002 to 2012 producing aromatic whites, rich reds and Italian varietals.  From 2014 Andrew has been based in the Great Southern of WA working for West Cape Howe and contract making wines for many other local and bespoke brands and now most recently excitedly heading up the team at Castelli Estate from December 2020.

Andrew Potter

National Sales & Marketing Manager
Andrew joined Castelli Estate in 2022 and comes to us from the Yalumba Wine Company, where he worked in their distribution networks for 15 years. Latterly as the WA Negociants Sales Manager for more than 10 years, successfully leading his team to growth in the WA market.

With over 25 years of wine industry experience and an MBA in Wine Marketing completed under the tutelage of Dr Stephen Charters MW,  Andrew has a deeply held passion for fine wine, sales, marketing and brand management. A consummate wine professional, Andrew has developed exceptional and long-lasting relationships within an industry-wide network, driven by a desire to provide outstanding customer service.
